Medialization / Medializácia
I am a visual artist (*2000) primarily working in the medium of sculpture. In my practice, I explore the relationship between natural structures and human intervention in the landscape. The materiality and formal language of my works derive from natural sources, while each piece carries a personal narrative and a lived experience of place.
I repeatedly engage with the motif of animal nests—an archetype of shelter and protection. I place this motif in contrast with the unsustainability of human construction materials and building practices. I am interested in the tension between the natural and the constructed, between fragility and permanence.
My inspiration comes from nature, from the environments of distant travels, as well as from intimate moments during everyday walks. An inseparable source of fascination for me is the paleoentomological world, to which I also contribute through scientific illustration. My practice thus moves between art and science, where detail, observation, and respect for natural processes play a crucial role.
