The object was created by recycling the work “Nest” (2021), which, due to exposure to the outdoor environment, began to deteriorate and lose its qualitative value. I realized that I had created exactly what I was criticizing in its meaning — useless debris. With the intention of creating a functional and beneficial object, I dismantled “Nest” and, using its internal structure, created a series of solitary nests — shelters that, when attached to a building facade, can be used primarily by birds and insects. These shelters are made of fired clay. The object thus represents an attempt to create a substitute for the spaces we have destroyed through our construction activities.
