What touches do we require, prefer or are we willing to tolerate? The object balances between a gentle hug and the terrifying grasp of slimy tentacles. Does the appearance of the object attracts or repels you?
My inspiration for this haptic sculpture came from traditional slime cures. This slimy and relaxing rehabilitation process can either feel like an unwanted, disgusting, or even violent contact that "contaminates" us, or like a pleasant, soft and healing touch.

Aké dotyky vyžadujeme, preferujeme či sme ochotní zniesť? Objekt balansuje medzi prítulným objatím a odstrašujúcim zovretím holými chápadlami. Priťahuje, alebo odpudzuje Vás jeho telesnosť?
Mojou inšpiráciou pre vytvorenie haptickej sochy boli tradičné slimačie kúry. Tento slizký, rehabilitačno - relaxačný proces na nás môže pôsobiť buď ako nechcený, nechutný, až znásilňujúci kontakt, ktorý nás ,,kontaminuje", alebo ako príjemný, mäkký a ozdravný dotyk.
