Through paved sidewalks, tiled spaces, or artificial grass, I cannot feel a connection to the earth. I want to replace them with greenery — with everything that real soil contains — because I love nature and always miss it in the city.
The installation documents a daily search for green, harmonious places in bustling Brussels. It includes printed QR codes that connect the work to the Instagram account @parts.of.my.ground. When scanned, each code reveals a specific part of the installation along with a photograph of the place where the “sample” was collected.
